MONTESSORI TRAINING CENTER (CEM)

In 1978, the Montessori Training Center (CEM) was founded with the primary purpose of training the teaching staff of Montessori Sierra Madre.

The high academic standards of its certification programs—endorsed by the American Montessori Society (AMS) and accredited by MACTE—have achieved international recognition.

CEM prepares individuals capable of applying Montessori philosophy and methodology so that children may fully develop their potential, promoting above all respect, love, beauty, justice, and peace.

Its mission is to provide training with an educational approach that goes beyond the mere transmission of knowledge. Rather, it seeks to serve and guide the young human being entrusted to each educator—the child—so that each one may become the best version of themselves.
